Solar PV
Following a number of requests from our customers for Solar PV we are now able add this service to our roof renovation and insulation service.
By installing Solar panels on your roof you not only generate your own electricity which drastically reduces your energy bills but you feed back into the Grid. In return for this you will be paid a Feed in Tarrif which is a lump sum paid to you every year for 25 years guaranteed by the government. It is tax free and index linked
Can I have solar panels?
Anyone with a southeast, south or southwest facing roof can benefit from solar PV. If your roof is facing east to west you can also benefit from a split system (a line of panels on each side).
Your investments may only be currently making as little as 2 or 3% p.a. A solar PV installation can typically offer returns of 9% p.a and it’s tax free!
Why invest in solar panels?
Electricity prices are expected to continue to rise as natural energy resources diminish.Energy suppliers are obliged to help pay for the Feed in Tariff. This is predicted to add further increases to your electricity bill.
Those without solar PV will be paying towards those that do. A 4kW system in the south east could produce an income of £35,000 in 25 years. With inflation and increased energy costs factored in the return could be more like £70,000 in 25 years!
A 2kW system can prevent 1 ton of CO2 entering the atmosphere every year. You can help reduce the effects of global warming.
