Sprayseal Anti condensation treatment to warehouse roof at HJ Heinz Ltd depot in Telford.

The problem was one of condensation on a relatively new single storey warehouse building at the Heinz depot in Telford.

The area to be treated was a single skin metal profile sheet roof, which was suffering from problems with condensation.

We specified an average thickness of 40mm of foam which would eliminate the condensation and reduce the U value of the roof to 0.4W/m2/0C which would give a heat loss saving of approx 40%

Access to the roof was only possible by boom lift which was supplied to us by Heinz. We did not need an operator as our operatives are certified boom lift operators.

The work was carried out by 2 teams over 1 weekend which kept the disruption to a minimum and the building is now condensation free and has a greatly improved thermal performance.
